Thsi course has been taught 6 times for a major crude oil pipeline operator and is now available for industry use. It is 7 hours long and consists of the following topics:

Introduction to Hydraulics and Fluid Flow - 75 minutes
Equipment - 90 minutes
Failure Causes and Modes - 30 minutes
Pipeline Integrity - 30 minutes
Leak Detection with Scenarios - 60 minutes
Power and System Optimization - 45 minutes
Advanced Hydraulics and Control Examples - 120 minutes

Attendees have generated a number of e-mails to optimization engineers requesting additional information and suggesting changes and improvements to operations.
